Just a mom trying to find time to build and create

Hi, I'm Hilary! I’m a wife and mom to two little girls in SWFL.

Summer 2024 I became interested in home decor but lacked a natural eye for it so I began studying. Soon after I wanted to take it to the next level - building.

I was intimidated and didn't know where to start.

Then I was inspired by something I read: "Everything is figure-outable." That simple phrase opened my eyes to a whole new perspective, and so began my DIY journey.

September 2024 I started my first project - a board and batten accent wall. It was so easy and it looked amazing!  I was hooked. Within 6 months I took on a custom closet and built-in bookshelves with a window seat.

Each project brings new challenges and teachings; it's both humbling and rewarding.

As a beginner DIYer and full time mom, learning all of the things can be intimidating and finding time to work on projects can be tough. I've found ways to break big, impactful projects down into achievable steps. I hope to inspire and empower you to start or further your DIY journey.
